The popularity of screw tail dog breeds has been on the rise in the last recent years. Congenital vertebral malformations affecting these breeds have been increasingly documented in clinical practice, and have been extensively studied in the recent literature. The aim of this lecture is to review this subject using a clinical and evidence based approach. Some clinical cases are included
