About The Webinar

Glomerular disease incorporates pathology that affects the structure and or function of the nephron glomerulus. Glomerular diseases are the most common cause of life-threatening proteinuria in canine patients. Their proteinuria warrants aggressive treatment, close monitoring and management of disease consequences. This webinar will briefly revise the anatomy and physiology of the glomerulus to help the practitioner better understand commonly encountered glomerular diseases and terminology. We will discuss the diagnostic approach to proteinuria before considering the diagnostic and therapeutic considerations of these complicated patients. Hopefully, by the end of this webinar attendees will be able to approach proteinuria with a greater degree of confidence and best apply a range of diagnostic tests and therapies to patients suffering glomerular disease.
