About The Webinar
Tenosynovitis of the digital flexor tendon sheath is a relatively common cause of lameness in both athletic and leisure horses. Tenosynovitis can result from injury to any of the intra-thecal structures. The anatomy of the digital flexor tendon sheath is complex, housing the superficial and deep digital flexor tendons as they course around the fetlock joint. The presentation will cover the anatomy of the digital flexor tendon sheath, approach to diagnostic investigation of tenosynovitis, and management. Using data from clinical cases expectations and prognoses for individual injury types will be discussed.
