Neurology is as much a verbal, as it is a visual, specialty. Whilst the history and neurological examination are the base of the neurological diagnosis, some conditions can be diagnosed by simple observation. Epilepsy and movement disorders are classical examples. This webinar will set up a video-discussion on different topics/neurolocalisation. The aim of using videos as a teaching tool is to make complex neurological disorders clearer and less frightening for the audience.
Majority of part of the human brain is devoted towards processing the visual information and I have found teaching through video-case approach to be quite effective, it is even better than teaching through traditional text-books references or slides full of text.
