About The Webinar

Hip dysplasia is an increasingly recognised cause of lameness in all ages of dogs. Historically these have been managed by non-surgical means until patients’ were failing to respond, at which stage surgery was chosen. Surgical techniques have greatly advanced in the last ten years and now there is a trend towards earlier surgical interventions. The webinar will discuss these surgical techniques and their relative success rates but will also concentrate on those cases where referral is not available and the cases have to be managed on a limited budget. By the end of the webinar the delegate should have an understanding of how to diagnose and manage hip dysplasia cases that are seen in first opinion practice.
