About The Webinar

In this session we will review the causes, diagnosis and management of dogs with lumbosacral disease. This is a common problem especially in larger breed dogs which can be difficult to investigate and determine the most appropriate treatment option. We will review the anatomy and relevant clinical dysfunction associated with lesions affecting the region - lesion localisation is extremely important in this complex disease as accurate determination of diagnostic tests depends on it. The use of advanced imaging will be discussed to determine whether the lesions identified are actually causing this disease and how they may help in determining whether surgery is necessary.
