About The Webinar

A variety of diseases of the upper and lower equine urinary tract are covered. In this webinar Zoë takes a problem based approach: The first part of the webinar is centered around polyuria and polydipsia, and the second half is focused around posturing to urinate without normal voiding. These are two of the most common clinical presentations in horses with urinary tract disease. Zoë talks through these syndromes, looking at possible causes, clinical signs, diagnostic approaches and therapy. Topics such as acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, urinary incontinence, cystitis and urolithiasis are included. A practical approach to urinary tract disease is facilitated by an understanding of different presenting signs and the diagnostic findings that may accompany them.
