About The Webinar

After reviewing the unique anatomy of the feline tarsus we will cover the diagnostic approach to feline tarsal injuries. We will delve more specifically into common traumatic conditions such as tarsocrural instability as well as highlighting less common but interesting injuries such as talar and calcaneal fractures. We will discuss the array of different treatment options available for specific injuries ranging from external coaptation to pantarsal arthrodesis. Whilst also soaking in some of the scientific literature along the way. The lecture aims to provide a solid basis to improve confidence in approaching and dealing with feline tarsal injuries, as well as helping with prognostication for more complex injuries.
