About The Webinar

This webinar will assist nurses in developing a deeper understanding of the clinical condition of anaemia and the pathophysiology of IMHA. We will explore how to successfully nurse patients, paying attention to minimising stress, obtaining diagnostic samples, and monitoring for signs of deterioration. Nurses will be encouraged to consider their patients individual needs and think about important aspects of management and care including immunosuppressive treatments, adjuvant care and advanced supportive therapies. Diagnostic tests will be considered alongside prognostic indicators such as intravascular haemolysis, autoagglutination and non-regeneration of cells, enabling a deeper understanding as to how the condition is diagnosed and subsequently managed both in the hospital setting and beyond.
