About The Webinar

Regardless of whether the patient is a dog or a cat, the criteria for the classification of effusions are the same. As simple as it gets, there are transudates, modified transudates, and exudates. Simply put, that sounds boring! Rather than focus on boring fluid dynamics, this lecture will be a clinically relevant, practical, and case-based approach to the patient with effusion. We will review patient disease with effusion, how to obtain the effusion for evaluation, and techniques to evaluate the samples for diagnosis to improve our clinical medicine!
