About The Webinar

Neck pain is a common presenting complaint in first opinion and referral practice. However, the clinical presentation can be highly variable. In this webinar we will discuss the range of clinical signs associated with neck pain and how to examine a patient with suspected neck pain. We will review differential diagnoses for neck pain and consider diagnostic investigations. We will then focus on 4 important causes of neck pain: intervertebral disc extrusion, steroid-responsive meningitis-arteritis, atlantoaxial instability and syringomyelia. For each of these, presenting clinical signs, diagnosis, treatment and prognosis will be discussed.
