About The Webinar

Joint replacement for companion animals has been available for over forty years but was rarely performed until the 1990s. Initially replacements were mostly limited to the hip and a few centres but with improvements in our knowledge this had led to more joints being able to be replaced and more joint replacement prostheses being available. However the availability of more systems and more surgeons performing joint replacement can be confusing.
This webinar is designed to give you a brief overview of joint replacement, what is available and the expected results. Therefore in your clinic, when you are presented with an animal with severe joint disease, you can better inform your clients of the options for joint replacement.
