A painful condition affecting the spine can be a treatable condition. Pain lets us know that the disease is affecting the vertebrae, meninges or nerve roots. Using videos of clinical cases, Simon will cover the clinical signs that confirm you have spinal disease and show you how pain can manifest itself. The main diseases of interest during this presentation include type I disc disease, discospondylitis, meningitis, trauma and neoplasia. Simon will take a typically practical approach to help you get to grips with how you can diagnose and treat these conditions.
