About The Webinar

This session on non painful spinal diseases will cover the diagnosis and management of several common problems affecting dogs and cats. Degenerative myelopathy can be a confusing presentation in several breeds of older dogs especially now that there is a genetic test for this disease. Fibrocartilaginous embolic myelopathy (FCEM) is the most frequent acute non painful disease of the spine in dogs and can be diagnosed by ruling other conditions out as well as more specifically with MRI. Type II intervertebral disc disease, syringomyelia and intramedullary tumors can also be responsible for the animal with a non painful spinal disease. All of the above diseases will be discussed and clarified during this talk
