About The Webinar

Gastrointestinal diseases are a common reason for rabbits to be presented to veterinary surgeons. They can be grouped into those diseases affecting the gut directly such as coccidiosis or mucoid enteropathy, and those where gut problems such as gut stasis are a symptom of another disease. This webinar will discuss presenting signs, diagnostic testing and therapeutics related to gastrointestinal disease in rabbits. Because gastrointestinal disease is a significant cause of morbidity and mortality in pet rabbits within the veterinary surgery, particular attention will be paid to methods of assessing progress during the treatment of critical cases. Decision making for vets in practice faced with rabbits suffering from various types of gastrointestinal disease will be discussed enabling practitioners to make sound diagnostic and therapeutic choices for rabbits suffering from a variety of gastrointestinal conditions.
