About The Webinar

Neurological diseases of young animals can be devastating diseases which are often genetic, infectious or traumatic. During this session we will focus on the most common conditions affecting young animals and look at how they present in order that we can suspect them, how we can investigate them and how we can practically treat them. The conditions to be covered include Chiari-like malformation and syringomyelia, hydrocephalus, storage diseases, AA subluxation and hepatic encephalopathy. We will use videos of example cases and discuss what we may have to consider for the breed itself so that the owner knows what to do in the future regarding breeding.
