About The Webinar

Spinal trauma can happen secondary to numerous accident types, most commonly due to vehicle related injury. Spinal injury can be related to fractures, luxations, haemorrhage, ischemia and disc disease following the trauma. During this session we will outline how to evaluate the patient with spinal trauma and specifically what neurological exam components need to be undertaken and how they may be helpful. The role of imaging in prognosis and patient management will be discussed and the treatment options for the causes of the injury will be reviewed.
