About The Webinar

As the human-animal bond is as strong as ever, the treatment of animals with neoplastic disease is becoming more common in veterinary practice, which opens up a diverse range of nursing skills which are utilised to enhance the care of the patients seen by the veterinary team. This webinar aims to give an overview of many elements of these nursing skills relevant to chemotherapy in practice so that we can reflect on our current circumstances and investigate ways to improve, diversify or simply learn more on the subject. Topics covered in this one hour webinar include ethical considerations of treating animals with cancer, chemotherapy monitoring, quality of life assessments and client liaison.
