About The Webinar

Atrial fibrillation is one of the most common arrhythmias in the dog. It is frequently encountered in clinical daily practice. The webinar will help you recognising this arrhythmia by a systematic and careful approach to the ECG. We will discuss “tricks” to help diagnosing this rhythm and avoid confusing it with other abnormal rhythms. We will discuss in depth the different clinical situations where this arrhythmia is frequently observed in daily practice and the different strategies which can be applied for its management. Concepts such as lone atrial fibrillation, rhythm vs rate control strategies, combination of different treatments and cardioversion will be thoroughly explained and discussed.
