About The Webinar

Treating dyspnoeic patients can be stressful for all concerned- you, the owner and the pet. This webinar will look at the use of clinical examination and ancillary testing to aid in the assessment of the dyspnoeic patient. Often these patients require stabilisation at the same time as assessment, so an integrated approach will be used throughout the webinar. Methods of oxygen supplementation for all sized pockets will be discussed as well as how to assess the efficacy of treatment. Cases will be interspersed throughout the webinar to illustrate specific points, as well as video illustrations of breathing patterns. By the End of the webinar you should be able to interpret simple blood gas values, decide the type of oxygen therapy and which imaging is appropriate for your patient.
