About The Webinar
Weakness in the limbs can be due to spinal disease but can also be associated with neuromuscular conditions. Diseases which affect the peripheral nerve, neuromuscular junction and or muscles can result in several definitive signs which are not unfortunately specific for any particular disease. We will discuss the clinical signs which help determine weakness to be of neuromuscular origin using video footage. The causes of acute neurouscular weakness including polyradiculoneuritis, botulism and myasthenia gravis will be discussed during the remainder of the session.
