About The Webinar

Chronic hind limb gait abnormalities can be challenging, especially when the problem is not yet severe. Using videos, this presentation focuses on strategies for answering two key questions: 1. Is it neurological? 2. Where is the lesion? The utility of different parts of the neurological examination will be explored, along with gait analysis in dogs with a range of neurological conditions. There will also be a discussion about common causes of chronic paraparesis in dogs, and potentially useful diagnostic tests that can be performed in first opinion practice. Finally, dogs that cannot be referred or have cross sectional imaging performed will be discussed, and a logical approach to these cases presented.
