About The Webinar

Despite advances in the understanding and medical management of osteoarthritis (OA), many cases will still benefit from surgical intervention. This webinar will revise the established surgical treatments for canine and feline OA, such as excision arthroplasty, arthrodesis and total hip replacement, and will introduce and review emerging surgical options such as load-shifting osteotomies, partial joint replacements and joint resurfacing.

The interested clinician will glean an understanding of when surgical intervention should be considered, how to optimise outcomes in general practice, and what advanced treatment options are available and on the horizon.
