About The Webinar

Vestibular syndrome is a common presentation in dogs and cats. Constructing a list of potential differential diagnoses to determine appropriate diagnostic investigations and subsequent treatment can be challenging. In this CPD lecture we will cover the basic anatomy of the vestibular system and key components of the neurological examination in patients with vestibular syndrome. We will review how to differentiate peripheral and central neuroanatomical localisations and discuss how to create a prioritised list of potential differential diagnoses in these patients. In addition we will discuss common clinical presentations in the form of case-based discussion.
