About The Webinar

What’s new in toxicology? The evolving nature of toxicology brings challenges and many rewards to our everyday practice. How would you approach a case with a toxin you have never even heard of before? I’ve never used intralipid, is it safe? Despite all my efforts, the patient is still showing clinical signs, what shall I do? All these questions will be answered in this lecture. We will be covering toxins which we are starting to see more commonly, for example legal and illicit drugs causing serotonin syndrome. Why grape and raisings cause toxic effects. And an array of common toxins which many of us find challenging to understand from a pathophysiological perspective as well as approach to treatment. In addition, you will discover many novel treatments which have been published in recent literature, and when to use them.
