About The Webinar

Ferrets are fun, energetic animals that can make very rewarding and entertaining pets. Unfortunately, endocrine related conditions are seen with some frequency in this species and can be severely debilitating and, in some cases, lead to mortality.
This webinar is aimed to provide an update on endocrine disorders in the ferret, with review of the three main endocrine disease processes seen in pet ferrets: adrenal gland disease, hyperoestrogenism and insulinoma.
For each disease, the clinical signs, diagnostic tests, treatment options and expected outcomes will be discussed. This webinar aims to summarise the ‘need-to-know’ points, whilst providing updates on the latest approaches to ferret endocrine disease. It also aim to provide practical information that can be readily used in general practice.
