Triage means "to sort"; with an emergency patient we need to determine the urgency of any problems, and prioritise treatment based on the seriousness of the injuries. To allow this decision making process, the patient needs to be rapidly assessed by the clinical team, focusing on physical parameters that will alert us to failings of the major body systems. This webinar will look at what advice to give to owners, which clinical signs to look for, and what they tell us about the respiratory, circulatory and nervous systems.
