About The Webinar

Nursing cats with urinary tract disease can be very challenging in practice. This lecture will give an over view of the most common types of urinary tract disease and how to manage those cats needing urinary catheterisation, but will focus on cats where urinary catheterisation may be contraindicated. Feline Idiopathic Cystitis and cats developing urethral spasm are commonly presented to the veterinary practice. These cats benefit from good medical management, excellent nursing care, stress reduction and owner education which will all be discussed in this lecture allowing the veterinary nurse to feel involved and provide the best nursing cat for these patients.
