About The Webinar

In this webinar I aim to cover the basic approach to the oncological case that presents with a soft tissue mass, this includes how to make an accurate diagnosis (including how to maximize what you can get out of the histopathology report) and how to stage the patient appropriately. We will then move on to treatment and consider some of the basic surgical principles as well as other treatment modalities. Finishing with a brief review of prognosis to include some of the recent literature looking at the follow up of soft tissue sarcoma’s in practice. This webinar will mainly focus on canine soft tissue sarcomas but a brief overview of some other tumours of connective tissue will be included (such as histiocytic disease and feline injection site sarcoma)
