About The Webinar

The webinar ‘The diagnostic approach to cancer: how can nurses get more involved - A case based approach’ focuses on diagnosing cancer in dogs and cats. The course discusses how you can actively support the veterinarian in charge but also engage with the owner and be part of their pets’ treatment journey. The seminar will lead you through a variety of diagnostic tests commonly performed, some of which will be in-house tests and others will be external lab tests, and indications for different procedures. This will enable you to understand the process of cancer diagnosis and provide you with in-depth knowledge as to why and when certain tests are performed. The seminar will further use case examples to more specifically outline diagnostics and the importance of your skills in diagnosing and treating cancer patients.
