About The Webinar

Challenging lameness cases in small animal orthopaedics often have us pulling our hair out! This lectures aim to provide delegates with a logical approach to these cases as well as tips and tricks to help localise them. The session will start with practical examples of how important history, subjective gait observation and clinical examination are at the start of our lameness investigation. This will be then followed by an overview of the uses and advantages of commonly used diagnostic tools such as radiography, ultrasonography and joint taps . In the final part of this lecture the role of other tools such as nerve blocks, force plate analysis arthroscopy and advanced imaging (computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and scintigraphy) in the challenging lameness case will be covered.
