About The Webinar

This lecture aims to discuss cases with ophthalmic considerations when they are presented as patients in your practice. It will work from the beginning when the patient arrives and then help to identify their needs when providing hospital accommodation. As nurses we need to understand why physical restraint of ophthalmology patients can have a direct impact on intraocular pressure and how we can make this process better for the patient? It will evaluate what products are appropriate to use to prepare the eye for surgery and help to design and perform a suitable protocol. To finish the nursing care plans for a post-operative ophthalmology patient will be reviewed.
