About The Webinar

In the United Kingdom, rodent species are increasingly commonly being kept as pets. Like rabbits, the importance of an appropriate diet is crucial for promoting healthy dentition. The ability of these species to demonstrate natural feeding behaviours is vital for both quality of life and general overall health.
This webinar takes a closer look at dental issues in some of the more frequently encountered myomorph and histricomorph species in general practice.
Emphasis is given to practical advice for the general practitioner. Topics covered include identifying key clinical signs of dental disease, useful tips for maximising visibility during conscious dental examinations, common dental abnormalities encountered in general practice and a discussion of the treatment options available. An overview of useful dental equipment will also be covered.
