About The Webinar

After spinal cord injury, several basic neurological functions can be affected, from subtle proprioceptive deficits to paraplegia and incontinence. Providing an adequate rehabilitation program is based on a thorough assessment of the deficits, establishing a treatment plan with specific goals for the affected patient and regular review of the progress. This webinar will present the basics of spinal cord injury and its consequences. We will see how this can guide the different phases of rehabilitation and help us choose between rehabilitation techniques such as acupuncture, physiotherapeutic exercises, Laser therapy... Towards the end we will discuss some standard rehabilitation programs to apply in your clinic.
