About The Webinar

Cats frequently present in the veterinary clinic with pelvic and pelvic limb injuries, after a traumatic incident. Road traffic accidents commonly cause severe and multiple injuries in the pelvis, pelvic limb and tail. This 2-part webinar is focused on injuries affecting these structures (pelvis, pelvic limb and tail) in feline patients. During these 2 hours of webinar we will cover the clinical signs, diagnosis and management of pelvic fractures and luxations, as well as other frequent injuries in the hindlimb of cats, such as femoral head and neck fractures, stifle luxation or tarsal luxation. Additionally we will examine the presentation, diagnosis, management and prognosis of tail pull injuries in cats. These lectures will also include postoperative management and potential complications of the pelvic limb injuries our feline patients may suffer from.
