About The Webinar

Patellar luxation is a common and debilitating orthopaedic condition in companion animal practice. Successful management of the condition depends on accurate pre-operative assessment followed by the selection of an appropriate surgical procedure that may be employed alone, or in combination with other differing procedures.
This webinar reviews the aetiology and assessment of patellar luxation as well as discussing advances in surgical management. By adopting a rational solution for each individual case, clinical outcome may be optimised and the risk of potentially serious complications reduced.
