About The Webinar

Hyperthyroidism is a frequently encountered condition in older cats. The webinar will cover diagnostics techniques and handling potentially very difficult patients at this time. We will cover how the diagnosis of hyperthyroidism can unmask other issues, such as renal failure. We will look at the treatment of concurrent diseases and what nursing considerations need to be taken into consideration. We will look at anaesthesia of these patients, whether for surgical intervention, or for other procedures such as dentistry. We will look at all nursing considerations for these patients when hospitalised for other issues. We will also look at the different treatment options for these patients, medical and surgical.
