About The Webinar

This webinar explores all aspects of nursing GI patients. We will investigate preparing and carrying out laboratory tests correctly so that the information provided is meaningful to the case. Diagnostic procedures carried out in GI cases are covered with important nursing aspects to ensure patient comfort and safety. We will also look at drugs commonly prescribed and how they work, as many nurses are involved in dispensing and it is important to give correct advice to clients. We will also cover inpatient care and nutrition both assisted enteral feeding via feeding tubes and parenteral nutrition. Care of the patient during these procedures is discussed.
