About The Webinar

In this webinar we will review how to perform a neurological assessment of the spinal trauma patient. We will discuss the neurological examination findings that help us to detect a spinal cord lesion, and then how to determine the site of the injury (C1-C5, C6-T2, T3-L3 or L4-S3 spinal cord segments). We will then move on to discuss some common causes of spinal trauma including fractures/luxations, traumatic disc extrusions and spinal cord contusive injuries. We will review their typical presenting signs, diagnostic options, treatment and prognosis.
