About The Webinar
Urinary tract trauma and the relative consequences can be quite challenging even for vets at referral centers. The management of these cases is multidisciplinary and involves people such as criticalists in the ICU who usually triage the patient and stabilize them before and after the diagnostic work up, the anesthetists who keep them under aneasthesia, the imagers whose contribute to the diagnosis is indispensable and last but not least the surgeons who are called to repair the repairable.
Key points of this talk are that urinary tract emergencies trauma-related can be life threatening conditions which need to be addressed rapidly. They require therefore rapid recognition and aggressive stabilization interventions. Last but not least they require surgical correction.
