About The Webinar

'Funny turns' are a relatively common presenting complaint in neurology, and these cases present a diagnostic challenge. Dogs are usually normal in between episodes and are normal on neurological examination. Where do you start? Is it neurological or not? What tests should be performed? Do these dogs need to be referred for an MRI scan? This webinar explores these issues and the most common causes of 'funny turns'. The majority of these dogs can be given an accurate diagnosis without an MRI scan, and in many cases their prognosis is excellent without any treatment. The webinar rounds off with a logical framework for working up these cases and when to refer them to a neurologist.
