About The Webinar
The clinical signs seen with lumbosacral lesions differ from those seen at other locations of the spine mainly because of the unique anatomical structures of the region. A number of different term have been used to describe pathological conditions of the lumbosacral region, including cauda equine syndrome, lumbosacral stenosis, degenerative lumbosacral stenosis, lumbosacral spondylopathy, spondylolisthesis, lumbosacral malformation-malarticulation and lumbosacral disease. The many terms reflects the multifactorial nature of the disorder. In this lecture we hope to review the anatomy, pathogenesis, diagnosis and treatment of this condition both medical and surgical.
