About The Webinar

Canine leptospirosis can present in many different ways but is commonly a life-threatening emergency. As a systemic disease, it can affect many different body systems, meaning it can sometimes be difficult to distinguish from differential diagnoses. Furthermore, making a definitive diagnosis can be challenging. This webinar will consider the acute presentations of leptospirosis in dogs, suitable diagnostic investigations, and how best to manage these often critical patients, with a focus on acute kidney injury, hepatopathy and bleeding disorder manifestations. Real cases and ‘test-yourself’ questions will be discussed, and evidence from the latest guidelines and publications will be presented to equip the clinician with a better armoury to tackle this testing condition.
