This webinar addresses how essential fatty acids benefit itchy dogs, especially as part of a multimodal approach to the management of atopic dermatitis.
The extent of the benefits of EFAs for treating skin problems are unclear; however, there is now increasing evidence of their benefits in the management of skin disease.
The roles of EFAs in maintaining the epidermal barrier and in inflammation will be discussed, as will their use in the management of allergic skin disease and, in particular, atopic dermatitis.
