About The Webinar

This Webinar will deal with some of the most common ocular emergencies encountered in general practice. Topics covered include proptosis of the globe, retrobulbar abscesses, deep corneal ulcers and a guide on how to easily distinguish an ocular surface problem from intraocular disease. The latter will help the veterinary surgeon to recognize potentially blinding eye diseases such as glaucoma, lens luxation and uveitis as early as possible.

Pathogenesis, diagnosis and treatment of the above diseases are discussed to help veterinarians choosing the best possible management of these ophthalmic emergencies as well as recognizing conditions that warrant urgent referral to an ophthalmologist.
