About The Webinar
There are a variety of liver diseases affecting cats, with a recent study identifying inflammatory and neoplastic diseases being common in the UK feline population. Clinical signs are often non-specific, and diagnosis relies on the results of laboratory test and diagnostic imaging, ideally combined with a liver biopsy. Once a diagnosis has been reached, a tailored management strategy can be instigated. This will utilise specific therapies to address an underlying causes (when known), along with symptomatic and supportive treatments. This webinar will discuss the common feline liver diseases in the UK, and the evidence for their optimal management.
