About The Webinar

Guinea pigs are commonly seen in general practice for conditions affecting the urinary tract. Urolithiasis and cystitis are well reported in this species. Both conditions can act as a nidus for the other, and urolithiasis should always be ruled out in cases of cystitis. This webinar will focus on the clinical signs associated with urinary tract infections, predisposing factors and causes of the problem. We will also detail practical diagnostic investigations that can be readily performed in general practice, along with discussion of treatment options and expected case outcomes.
