About The Webinar

Medial patellar luxation is a common cause of hindlimb lameness in dogs. Some cases can be very simple to treat whilst others are much more complicated and challenging. In this webinar, the causes of patellar luxation will be discussed and then a logical approach to the selection of the treatment options available will be described. As well as considering which cases do or do not require surgery, we will share some top tips for getting great results with standard procedures such as tibial tuberosity transposition and block recession trochleoplasty. Finally, we will also look at the indications for more advanced procedures such as femoral ostectomies and patellar groove replacement.
