Parasites are a common cause of itchy skin disease in dogs and cats that can cause a lot of distress and suffering for both the animals and their owners. Parasites are also readily diagnosed using in-house tests which you are able to perform. This webinar will cover all the creepy crawlies that commonly cause skin disease in dogs and cats such as fleas, Demodex, Sarcoptes and Cheyletiella mites. As well as discussing the common clinical signs and treatment options we will also cover all the practical techniques required to find the parasites. This will include, skin scrapes, hair plucks and coat brushings. Practical advice on using the microscope will also be given.
