About The Webinar

The elbow is a complex joint as it articulates 3 bones, which need to growth simultaneously to prevent problems related to incongruency of the joint. There are a few conditions that may affect this joint and that can be managed arthroscopically. Arthroscopy is a highly effective tool in dogs affected by elbow dysplasia not only for the diagnosis but also for treatment. It is a minimally invasive procedure and animals usually recover quickly from this procedure. In this webinar we will cover the most common elbow pathologies and their management with elbow arthroscopy. It will include the arthroscopic equipment needed, how to perform elbow arthroscopy step by step and the arthroscopic findings and treatment of the most common elbow conditions. This lecture will also include potential complications the clinician may encounter, and their management.
